Let’s delve into the menu, where a variety of dishes awaits to tantalize your palate. The side orders are an adventure in themselves, with the grilled vegetables bringing a smoky zest, and the feta adding a delightful tang that pairs perfectly with the pita bread.

For those craving something more substantial, the Falafel Sandwich and Philly Gyro are standout choices, both priced at just $10. Each bite is a textural delight, showcasing the freshness of the ingredients. Notable among the meat entrees is the lamb pastry plate, which comes highly recommended and offers a unique take on savory comfort food.

One customer, Megan E., captured the essence of the dishes beautifully, praising the chicken shawarma as "very delicious" alongside the crispy fries that resemble food truck fare—perfect for those on the go or simply looking to indulge.

It's not just the main dishes that are crafted with care; the lentil soup demonstrates the kitchen’s attention to flavor without overwhelming the palate. As Kathy W. noted, each meal comes with a super salad and a side of rice or fries, ensuring you get a little bit of everything. The combination offers a vibrant explosion of tastes—an experience not to be missed.

The meat was just a little over cooked. It was seasoned ok. We had beef and chicken kabobs. The tzatziki sauce was really good. The rice and salad were also. Service was great. I ordered and picked up.

This place was VERY tasty, and actually had good flavor. As someone who is Asian I definitely recommend. I don't have a menu in front of me so i apologize for the spellings in advance! Great service and friendly staff too. Wasn't too busy, but we also went on a Wednesday. - baba gnoush (+ chicken we added): this hummus was probably our favorite item we got. so tasty and my bf loved the chili hot sauce! - lentil soup: tasty, not as thick as i would've expected but still good nonetheless! - fries: very crispy should get these- they taste like they are from a food truck hehe - chicken schwarma: very delicious wrap with the same chicken that was added to the hummus we got. Very delicious and came as a meal w the fries and lentil soup. Overall love this place and great for a date night. Also decor inside was very nice as well, glad to see such a staple available in Westport.

Food tasted absolutely fresh. Great place to visit while in Westport for a family dinner. The staff was very welcoming and answered any questions. The sandwiches are not vegan friendly from what our server said but you can modify the salads and add the falafels. There are some entrees that provide a great variety and the tahini sauce is also vegan.

Had lunch there today after not having visited this location in a very very long time. It's a bigger area than at their location up the street and rather inviting. Started out with the dolmas which were fine I probably wouldn't get them again but we also had a chicken shawarma which was fantastic and a lamb gyro, which was also outstanding. Each of the main dishes is reasonably priced and comes with either a super salad and a side of rice or french fries both the soup which was lentil today and the Greek salad were fantastic as well. Definitely glad I tried it again after a long time and I'll definitely be back I may just even get the lentil soup to go.

I've been enjoying Jerusalem Cafe since I was grabbing their Hummus and Pita from their food truck after a long night in Westport. Their new location is a nicely modernized version of their old spot and the food is still just as good. Their Manakeesh is always excellent and they have some of the best gyros that you'll find in Kansas City! I've never had a bad meal here, and given that I've had most of the items on their menu, I expect you won't, either.

Jerusalem Cafe has some great food. The manakish is delicious. Think cheesey bread but better. The lentil soup was one of the best I've had. It is full of flavor and was perfect on a cold day. The service is quick and friendly. One weekend nights, they run a food cart in Westport where you can grab hummus or a gyro on the way home. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options available here.

Ah, one the favorite smells of my youth. After spending hours bar hopping in westport, the savory smell of schwarma and fries would beckon you to the Jerusalem Cafe Food Truck for delicious sustenance at some ungodly hour. As a slightly more responsible adult the relocated brick and mortar site still sends delicious scents wafting through westport. Everything was excellent! It was warm and toasty inside - both atmosphere and service wise. The bab ghanouj is hands down my favorite thing to start with. You will get too much food for not too much money and you will leave better than you came in...which was not always the case at a late night bar hop in Westport.
